Depending on the buyer, some units may also hold approvals from global brands (for example Walmart, fashion retailers in Europe, or licensed–brand programs).

Q2. Do all factories you work with have the same certifications?

No – and that’s actually an advantage. Some partner factories are heavily audited with combinations of SMETA / BSCI / SA8000 / WRAP, while others may be smaller, non-audited units that still follow good practices but don’t carry full certificates yet. We match factories to each buyer’s needs: high-compliance units for large retailers and more flexible units for niche brands that prioritise cost or speed over multiple audits.

Q3. What environmental and chemical safety standards can your factories support?

Depending on the mill and processing unit, we can work with facilities that follow GOTS, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and extended programs such as GRS (Global Recycled Standard), RCS (Recycled Claim Standard), OCS (Organic Content Standard), BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), and ZDHC/restricted-substance guidelines. For some larger dyeing/processing units, Higg FEM scores and environmental reporting can also be shared on request.

Q4. Do your partner factories have ISO certifications as well?

Several of the larger export-oriented factories and mills work under ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management), and in some cases ISO 45001 for health and safety. These aren’t always displayed on the website, but copies of valid ISO certificates can be shared during vendor onboarding or compliance review.

Yes. Q8. Do certified factories accept low MOQs or startup orders?

In most cases, fully audited and certified factories do not work with very low MOQs or micro-startup runs. For programs that must run under GOTS, OEKO-TEX®, Sedex / BSCI, WRAP or similar certifications, a realistic minimum order quantity is around 1,000 pcs per colour per style. This is because certified units have higher compliance costs, more complex documentation, and stricter production planning. Smaller brands or startups can still work with us, but only if they are comfortable meeting these MOQs for certified production; otherwise we may recommend non-certified but reliable factories for early-stage testing.
